The camping sector and its market continue to grow in South Korea. Despite the ups and downs of recent years, the business has remained global and has rediscovered important moments of development, as the 2023 edition of the Camping & Picnic Fair balances of Seoul. Last March, all the major camping brands returned to South Korea for the first time, an opportunity previously impossible due to the Covid-19. 134 companies hosted on 22,580 square meters of exhibition venue.
Seoul’s Camping & Picnic Fair represents a point of reference for local entrepreneurs in Korea, because it marks the “official opening” of the camping season. A moment that coincides with the arrival of spring, a further factor that pushes Koreans to rediscover their relationship with the outdoors and plan a camping holiday. The Camping & Picnic Fair in Seoul has reached its eleventh edition, this year it hosted 69,000 visitors, 134 camping brands and recorded an increase in visits of 2.6 percent.
