Capfun Group expands in Italy and works to overcome the stop imposed by the fires

Camping and resident Capfun expands in Italy with the acquisition of the first two structures. The French group is preparing for the spring season, expanding its catchment area beyond national borders, and has already resumed its activities by offering themed camping weekends.

These are some of the good news following the negative ones that arrived a few days ago, on the continuation of the blockade of the activities of the campsites of La-Teste-de-Buch due to the serious fires that almost destroyed the structure last summer. Capfun is working to provide for the reopening as soon as possible. In this regard, Nicolas Houé, general manager of the Capfun group, announced specifically for the Le Petit Nice campsite “a partial opening in June, with only 40 mobile homes, and no bare pitches, restaurants or bars ”.

As for the good news from Italy, these are the names of the two campsites acquired by the French group. We are talking about the 4-star Europing Camping Village campsite in Tarquina, in the province of Viterbo (Lazio), already known for the many services reserved for guests and the 4-star Camping Città di Angera present in the province of Varese on the shores of Lake Maggiore.

Capfun now has 130 campsites in France, Spain and Belgium. Camping Europing and Camping Città di Angera are the first two Italian structures of the group led by Nicolas Houé.
