Campsite owners are increasingly aware that having recharges for electric cars is one more weapon to attract customers who travel by these means. This is why a new online guide has been created, by the Camping.it site, which lists the Italian campsites and villages where you can find wall-boxes or columns.
At the moment eighteen structures are registered, with a clear prevalence of the Tuscan coast. But it is obviously the beginning of a census work that will be enriched as the structures are equipped.
“Given the growing presence of guests equipped with electric vehicles and the constant attention paid by most of the structures related to outdoor holidays to green and environmental sustainability policies – reads the site – Camping.it wants to provide its users with a list of campsites and villages where there are charging stations for electric cars ».
The guide indicates the number of sockets available, the charging power (usually from 7.4 to 22 kW) and whether the service is paid or free.
