The deadline for cadastral adjustment of mobile accommodation units, i.e., caravans, campers and mobile homes in campsites and resorts, is extended to Dec. 15, 2025. Originally, the deadline was set for June 15, 2025, and the postponement decision made by the CDM, was welcomed by FAITA Federcamping President Alberto Granzotto.
The extension involves more than 2,600 companies in the sector in Italy, and offers more flexibility and breathing space to plan cadastral revisions, which will have until mid-December to comply by submitting deeds to update the company’s cadastral map.
An important and long-awaited measure that is an incentive for entrepreneurs to improve their offerings. The regulatory context of the original deadline included:
“According to paragraph 1 of Art. 7-quinquies of DL 113/2024, as of Jan. 1, 2025, mobile units equipped with turnover mechanisms will no longer be included in the cadastral annuity, but a geometric (Pregeo) and cadastral (Docfa) update is required. The goal is to transition the valuation to equipped areas, with an increase in value of +85 percent on equipped areas and +55 percent on unequipped areas.”
For operators, the extension brings some important advantages, first and foremost that of having more time, which means completing the documentation without hassle and avoiding making mistakes that would result in penalties and sanctions. The extension also allows more time to better plan interventions and modernizations to facilities such as energy upgrading works, environmental sustainability and digital innovation through a direct contribution to expenses and subsidized financing.
What operators need to do in practice
We report the procedure as outlined by FAITA Federcamping.
Open air operators must submit PreGeo and Docfa deeds to update land and building cadastre by December 15, 2025. It is crucial to exclude mobile units from the cadastral map and trace the value back to the land. If the extended deadline is exceeded, ex officio inspections by the Internal Revenue Service will be triggered.
