“After two difficult years, 2022 represented the relaunch in terms of arrivals and presences for outdoor tourism”. This was stated by the president of Faita Federcamping Alberto Granzotto, interviewed by Mondo Camping at the Sia fair in Rimini, commenting on the data of the last season. “Even if the expensive bills arouses concern – added Granzotto – the recovery of tourist flows from abroad and the maintenance of internal ones has had very positive repercussions from an economic point of view for outdoor accommodation companies”.
With regard to the important investments that open-air hospitality companies are earmarking for eco-sustainability, Granzotto also pointed out, “we intend to provide guidelines to promote sustainable growth, bearing in mind that in the immediate future all economic and support for the tourism sector will be guided by real attention to the environment, and not for greenwashing and marketing reasons”.
