More than twenty years have passed since the concept of glamping entered the world of open-air tourism, offering a totally new perspective. This trend has brought about a real revolution for lovers of more traditional camping, introducing a wide range of new tourist offers.
Many campsites have evolved to become authentic tourist attractions, capable by themselves of justifying a trip to distant places, or even to non-European destinations. A luxury accommodation facility is about to be created in California, immersed in a natural setting, which will offer travelers the possibility of staying inside a helicopter.
This experience – truly out of the ordinary – will materialize inside the Joshua Tree National Park, where the Californian company Mega Remodeling Solutions has positioned out of service helicopters converted into luxury accommodation for glamping. The park is located at the meeting point between the Colorado and Mojave deserts, an area that has always been seen as one of the most fascinating and evocative destinations in the United States.
Baptized as “Helicopter Glamping”, this resort embodies a completely new and certainly curious concept of glamping. The works are already underway and the goal is to inaugurate the structure during the summer of 2024 right inside the Joshua Tree National Park.
Each unit will feature king-size beds, living spaces and outdoor areas, but additional comforts are provided to ensure a truly extraordinary holiday experience for guests seeking a camping adventure with sophisticated luxury and amidst scenic natural of indisputable beauty.
Helicopter glamping is already present in Europe, in Scotland.
