Italy’s leading international trade fair dedicated to the hotel and restaurant industry, organized by Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, ended last week with positive results.
The 49th edition of Hospitality – The Hospitality Show recorded 20,000 visitors and more than 750 exhibitors in all segments of HoReCa. It also hosted more than 100 events with 160 keynote speakers, all with one common thread: innovation, technology and sustainability, key concepts for the future of HoReCa.
Four days of exhibition, networking, events and experience for the HoReCa world, a great success.
Roberto Pellegrini, president of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi says, “This year we registered 20,000 professional visitors, a number that underscores the fair’s commitment to ensuring a complete and quality offer for hospitality professionals. Interesting is the 26% of new companies out of a total of over 750 exhibitors, and extremely positive is the satisfaction of the companies that this year have again chosen Riva del Garda to develop their business, a sign that Hospitality represents an important opportunity to intercept the ideal partners and all the latest market trends. All this confirms that we are moving in the right direction and that it is necessary to continue to invest and work also in view of an important milestone, the edition number 50 .”
International presence
The 2025 edition saw a strong international presence thanks to the important scouting activity carried out by Hospitality and the collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ITA).
More than 70 buyers from 20 strategic countries for the hôtellerie and restaurant market visited the fair: Albania, Finland, Germany, Lithuania, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, Hungary, Latin America, Egypt, Kenya, South Arabia and the UK.
Particularly attractive was the contract sector, of central interest to 50 percent of international buyers, while about 30 percent focused on Food & Beverage, segments in which the value of Made in Italy is particularly perceived.
As stated by Alessandra Albarelli, General Manager of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, “This is a virtuous contamination between the different sectors, which has generated new opportunities for growth and collaboration. Hospitality is much more than a trade show: it is a space for operators and experts to meet, a place where ideas meet and intertwine, like communicating vessels of innovative experiences.”
Next stop, San Remo
Ahead of next year’s long-awaited event celebrating the 50th edition of Hospitality – The Hospitality Show, scheduled for February 2-5, 2026, this week the fair will be the protagonist, together with WMF – We Make Future, at Casa Sanremo, the official hospitality area of the Italian Song Festival, a place where important ideas and synergies are born.
A new opportunity to promote the values of the event: people, accessibility and innovation. A nice opportunity to make new connections with the world of music, film and tourism.
Giovanna Voltolini, Exhibition Manager of Hospitality emphasizes, “The presence at Casa Sanremo follows last year’s very successful one at Fuorisalone where we were present with the DI OGNUNO project. These opportunities allow us to take our commitment to a more accessible and inclusive hospitality beyond the confines of the fair, dialoguing with different sectors and telling the spirit of Hospitality also in new and transversal areas.”
