Leonardo van de Loo, Europe’s best young talent in glamping. An ANWB-certified success story

TheANWB, the Royal Dutch Tourist Association, awarded the Italian director the title during the PiNCAMP Gala 2024, where the top destinations and personalities of the open air world in Europe were celebrated. Raised in the camping and glamping environment since birth, van de Loo has honed his skills through various experiences in Italian and foreign accommodations. In the group “Vacations with Heart,” he alternated between a direct presence in the resorts with increasing involvement in the management division. In 2019, the board entrusted him as project leader for the development of its first resort: the magnificent Lago Idro Glamping Boutique in Anfo (BS).

Success at Lago Idro Glamping Boutique

Just two years after opening, Lake Hydro Glamping Boutique received the award for“Most outstanding rental accommodation” in 2023. The facility offers experience with large tipi tents, children’s mini tents and private hottub, just steps from the lake. Currently, Leonardo van de Loo is the Director of Operations and is leading the project to open the new Trasimeno Glamping Resort in Magione (PG) scheduled for June 2024.
