Victoria Caravan, Camping & Touring has been taking place in Australia for 70 years and continues to record strong attendance numbers. The seventy edition was a record, chosen by over 200 exhibitors and attended by a total of 48,000 visitors.
The Truma brand was once again the title partner of the Victorian Caravan, Camping & Touring Supershow: “Truma were proud to be the title sponsor of Australia’s largest Caravan and Camping Supershow – explained Leisure-Tec CEO Paul Widdis – and it was great to see record crowds return to Melbourne. This year we have seen a number of new innovations introduced by Caravan Industry Victoria.”
The appointment is considered the largest of its kind in Australia and last February it allowed to closely observe all the latest news both in terms of caravans, motorhomes and 4x4s together with camping and outdoor equipment.
For this target, ample space has been given to technological camping equipment, gadgets and the most modern accessories. All the major camper and camping operators in Australia were present at the Melbourne Showgrounds: Avan Caravan, Cub Camper, Horizon Motorhome, Track Trailer, Dometic and Big 4 Holiday Parks.
Record numbers and participation were also achieved in Europe for the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show in Birmingham (England). The “twin” mini-exhibition organized in the Old Continent allowed visitors to discuss the 2023 novelties for campers, caravans, motorhomes, tents, essential items for camping, including technological ones, and participate in appointments organized with the most important professionals in the outdoor sector.
Speakers were Julia Bradbury, president of the Camping and Caravanning Club, Channel 5’s Motorhoming with Paul Merton and Suki Webster, extreme adventurer Aldo Kane and wildlife cameraman and ornithologist Hamza Yassin. 108,000 people visited the Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show in Birmingham.
