The world of camping and outdoor tourism at the TTG-SIA-SUN in Rimini

The international trade shows TTG Travel Experience, SIA Hospitality Design and SUN Beach & Outdoor will be held from 12 to 14 October at the Rimini exhibition complex, which together constitute a single and large marketplace dedicated to the tourism industry. Ample space will be dedicated to the campsites and villages sector, with exhibitors who will showcase their products and services dedicated to accommodation facilities for outdoor holidays, from mobile homes to electric charging stations, from management software to technologies.

The calendar of training seminars, workshops and professional conferences is very rich which at the SIA show will address the most interesting issues for campsite and village managers, concentrated above all in the Outdoor Arena, the meeting space located in the exhibition hall A7, where there will be also Mondo Camping camper. It starts on 12 October at 10.35 with “10 tips for an effective re-branding of the camping village”, by Nicola Del Vecchio (Teamwork), to continue at 11.45 with “Emerging strategies and solutions. Current and future open air accommodation, between the needs of guests, industry and the environment “, a round table with speeches by Sergio Redaelli (managing director of Crippaconcept), Valentina Fioravanti (chief marketing officer Human Company), Paolo Bertolini (president of the tourism promotion consortium of Cavallino Treporti), Margherita Capotorto (PhD student at the University of Pavia), Carlo Berizzi (professor at the University of Pavia), Francesco Giondi (CEO of Club del Sole), Alessandro Van De Loo (innovation director Vacanze col cuore!) And Mauro Federzoni (president of Intesa Sanpaolo Rent for You).

Another interesting conference, also on the first day of the fair in the Outdoor Arena, is at 3.30 pm and is entitled “Open Air Hospitality: quo vadis? From data analysis to sector sentiment – A journey from knowledge to strategy in an ever-changing sector. evolution “, with lectures by Alberto Granzotto (president of Faita), Giorgio Ribaudo (director of Thrends), Valeria Minghetti (researcher at Ca ‘Foscari University) and Magda Antonioli (Bocconi University and president of the National Tourist Observatory).

On the second day, at 10.30 “Open-air hospitality and sustainability: from words to deeds”, with the journalist Marco Gisotti and the architect Daniele Menichini, and at 15.30 “Food Court: a solution for catering in camping villages”, in curated by Sebastiano Tramontano of Teamwork.

Finally, the last day we move to the Beach Arena (pavilion B1, in the exhibition part of SUN 2022) at 10.30 for an event organized by Mondo Camping in collaboration with Mondo Balneare: “Beaches and campsites: tourism between business and environment” it will be a morning of discussion between some authors of recent books dealing with outdoor holidays. Because for tourism businesses that base their value on the existence of nature, such as bathing establishments and campsites, protecting the environment is a priority not only for its economic value, but also for its ecological value. Alex Giuzio (journalist, editor-in-chief of Mondo Balneare and author of “La linea fragile”) and Enzo Cortesi (entrepreneur in the nautical sector and author of “Camper golosi”) will participate.
