With DGR No. 52 of January 30, 2025, the Liguria Region approved the Tourism Jobs Pact, which provides for the implementation of interventions to support businesses in the sector for the year 2025.
As reflected in the words of the president of the Liguria Region Marco Bucci: “The Tourism Jobs Pact is an important step for the sector, an agreement that will allow companies to better manage their workforce, reducing costs and ensuring employment continuity. In Liguria, seasonal adjustment is a reality and the world of work must adapt “.
The Tourism Jobs Pact is a concrete tool to support the regional economy, the President added: “The growth of tourism in Liguria has been going on for years and I hope it will lead to greater employment stability and continued use of facilities. Today we add another piece to improve the quality of work and ensure ever better conditions for businesses and workers “.
Available resources under the Tourism Jobs Pact amount to 5 million euros. Regional councillor for the Programming of the European Social Fund Marco Scajola adds, ” A truly significant figure that testifies to the region’s maximum commitment to boosting employment. We aim to offer quality, long-term jobs by including, within the call for proposals itself, a relevant priority for permanent contracts. We are one of the most virtuous regions in Italy for the use and programming of ESF resources, we want to continue to be so by constantly improving our initiatives also based on the indications gathered from the fundamental dialogue with the social partners “.
Who is eligible and when
Thus, the Tourism Jobs Pact is also a valuable opportunity for open-air facilities, which will be able to access the call from May 19, 2025 through the Filse (Ligurian Financial for Economic Development) platform.
Applications can be submitted directly online at “Calls” section of the Filse website, until December 31, 2025, unless closed early due to exhaustion of funds.
The opening of the call linked to the Liguria Tourism Jobs Pact has been postponed by almost a month compared to what had been planned in the calendar, a date that combined with the Easter holidays. The postponement has been confirmed at a more suitable time in order to encourage greater participation by businesses in the sector.
Among the new features of the eighth edition of the pact are hiring bonuses for companies with at least one operating unit in the region, against hires made on or after Feb. 1, 2025.
