Salon SETT, a stage for Dutch camping operators

Salon SETT (Salon des Equipements et Techniques du Tourisme) once again confirmed itself as the crucial meeting point for camping professionals, a strategic event where innovation, networking and knowledge sharing converge. This year, the event was particularly successful not only for the countless innovations presented but also for a special announcement that changed the game in the camping world: the collaboration between ADAC, ANWB and TSC under the Pincamp banner. Not only that, the French fair was also the stage for the initiatives of the Dutch camping industry. Let’s find out why.

Philippe Robert’s satisfaction with the evolution of Pincamp

Philippe Robert, president of the Fédération de l’hôtellerie de plein air Languedoc-Roussillon, reiterated the importance of SETT: “Every year we confirm our status as a crucial meeting point for professionals striving to modernise our industry; people from all over Europe come together.

Dutch tents and new software to make up for labour shortages

The exhibition diversity at SEPT was impressive, ranging from technological innovations to wellness. Within the salon, the Netherlands left its ‘footprint’ through companies such as TOP Animation, Red Online Marketing, ACSI and Campingnavigator. These companies brought innovative products and services to Salon SETT, such as the renowned safari tents. Also of note for the Netherlands was the launch of TOP Animation’s Recreation Library, a software package designed to facilitate the creation of staff management plans and make programming visible through the website. Richard Ott, project manager, emphasised the enormous potential of the software in a context where labour shortages are a central issue in the Netherlands. The editorial team of Mondo Camping took part in Salon SETT by presenting readers with the best proposals for mobile homes. Read them in the article linked below.
